HISTORY

The 2010 Razor Pro represents the origins of modern freestyle scootering, a time when riders transformed simple folding scooters into unique custom builds using aftermarket parts and creativity. Before purpose built pro scooters dominated the market, Razor Pros were frequently upgraded with stronger bars, threaded forks, custom wheels and personalised finishes, making every build a reflection of its owner's style.

This example has been custom built by SB Vault using a carefully selected combination of new old stock (NOS) components and period correct aftermarket parts to recreate the look and feel of an authentic early 2010s custom scooter. Rather than restoring a previously ridden scooter, the goal was to build a tribute that celebrates the era while preserving rare components that are becoming increasingly difficult to source.

The build features a Razor Pro 100% aircraft grade aluminium deck, New Grit threaded forks, Oury grips, Yak low profile rear wheel, and leopard grip tape, all complemented by a striking 110mm Eagle Sports "Sperm" front wheel. The combination of bright colours, rare new old stock parts and iconic aftermarket components perfectly captures the bold, individual style that defined freestyle scootering during 2010.

This build is an SB Vault recreation, assembled using genuine period correct components sourced over time to celebrate one of the most influential eras in freestyle scootering. The use of rare new old stock parts and the distinctive Eagle Sports "Sperm" front wheel makes this a unique showcase piece, demonstrating the creativity and individuality that helped shape the early custom scooter scene. It stands as both a tribute to the golden era and an example of how enthusiasts continue to preserve scooter history today.
